responsibilities they face. The Hollywood Senior Multipurpose Center
established an adult day care program in 1984. Currently
known as Adult Day Services, this program offers affordable respite and
professional care in a friendly and safe environment.

have been affected by stroke, Parkinson's disease, heart disease or
developmental disabilities.
With an excellent ratio of 4 to 1, staff
provide individualized, personal attention to the participants.
The highly qualified, caring staff work under the direction of a
professional geriatric social worker, activity specialist and program aides. Trained senior companions and student interns
assist in client care and recreation in a respectful and nurturing manner.
Client benefits:
 |
Verbal
and functional abilities are maintained. |
 |
Nursing
home placement can be delayed. |
