The purpose of the Interfaith Caregivers Alliance is to promote the
ministry of caregiving to disabled persons and their families without
reference to age, gender, race or religious affiliation. 
Services Provided

Visitation
Provides regular, scheduled volunteer visits for the purpose of general
health status assessment, socialization, assistance with letter
writing, reading, and providing reassurance to isolated elderly or
disabled persons.
Phone Contact
Provides regular, scheduled calls by a volunteer to foster reassurance,
check on well-being, and comfort in times of difficulty and/or isolation. 
Volunteer opportunities
There are also volunteer opportunities during special events such as
health fairs, targeted screenings, etc.... If you are under 18 and would

Other Faith in Action Programs

Faith in Action volunteers work in communities across the country to care
for their neighbors who face disability or chronic conditions by providing
simple assistance that allows them to maintain their independence for as
long as possible. This fast-growing national movement of interfaith
volunteers includes local Faith in Action programs that bring together
religious congregations, community organizations, hospices, clinics and
hospitals.
